“Say it with flowers”  or even “say it through a flower”  these are familiar quotations! And without exception, we mean the elegant, colorful flowers, formed into a beautiful bouquet, that wind up on the table. It is interesting to note that here in good old Europe, flowers are given seven times more frequently than in America. We like to surprise mom with a little bouquet — but we also give our sweetheart a bouquet of dark red roses. Its no wonder than, that after the reunification of Germany, “mobile merchants” with colorful flowers were the first street businesses to be found on every corner. But there is nothing more beautiful and precious than flowers cultivated in one’s own garden. As the saying goes: “No pain, no gain”.
